Criminal Investigations for Patrol Officers
Dates and Locations to be announced soon!
The training is a three day (24
hour) program designed for Patrol Officers, Community Policing Officers, Gang
Investigators, Street Crimes Units and new Narcotics Detectives who work in
areas with high narcotics activity or who routinely come into contact with
narcotics related subjects. This training will provide a great training base for
officers who are motivated to initiate and investigate narcotics related crimes.
Officers
will learn about the latest street level narcotics and gang related
trends. Street level narcotics activity plagues every city and
town in the U.S and must be met head on by Patrol Officers, Crime
Suppression Units, Gang Units and Narcotics Units. Narcotics
traffickers range from subjects who transport cocaine, heroin, meth and
marijuana to the street level dealers who sell the narcotics on street
corners.
Officers will be taught techniques used for
obtaining consent searches on vehicles, hotels and residences.
Consent Search investigations are a great tool that should be
utilized every day when dealing with narcotics subjects.
Conducting proper and legal consent searches is an art that must
be developed through training and hands on experience.
Instructors will outline the latest trends in
hidden vehicle compartments, which will assist officers during
interdiction cases. Officers will learn techniques that can be
used to successfully conduct highway narcotics interdiction
investigations. Instructors will present techniques on how
to identify criminal characteristics on vehicles and how to safely
conduct roadside interviews.
The new trend for gang members is identity
theft and credit card theft. Gang members are utilizing fraud to make
huge amounts of cash which allows to them to purchase more
narcotics and illegal weapons. New techniques will be taught on
how to identify subjects involved in fraud and how to properly
prosecute these cases in both the state and federal system. This is a
must see training block that should be mandatory to every patrol
officer in the U.S.
Officers will also learn how to
cultivate, document, and handle confidential sources, which will help them
investigate narcotics crimes and other criminal activity occurring in their
area's. This class offers a new and updated learning perspective for both
new and veteran officers. The instructors have taught thousands of law
enforcement personnel through out the U.S and Europe.
